Morticia Addams Make-up Tutorial

She’s creepy and she’s kooky, mysterious and spooky, she’s all together ooky, she’s Morticia Addams and here is the step by step guide to make-up inspired by her brought to you by the ever talented Alana Dunlevy. Check out her previous tutorials here.

Morticia Addams inspired look.

Here is one for ladies (or gents!) who want to look pretty and not all gruesome and gory.

Step 1

Put on the lightest foundation you have. Then put on a dark blusher under the cheek in the hollow.  Then a light base primer all over my eyelids. I use MAC Paintpot  ‘Bare Study’ for this.

Put black shadow in the outer corner and blend up wards and out wards, you can cover quite a large area here.

Step 2

Then apply silver grey from the middle of your eyes out to the black and blend.  Then get a white and blend from the inner corner to the grey and from the very top of your lid under eyebrow in to the grey.

Next you need black liquid eyeliner and line the top eyelid.  I added a bit of black shadow to the bottom too. Blend well.

Step 3

So then to finish it off I penciled in my eyebrows and put loads of mascara on. My lips are a beautiful red from ‘screen face’, which I lined in black eyeliner pencil and blended in.

You can add a bit more Halloween sparkle to it by painting on a web design from your eyes in black then highlighted with silver glitter.
